Kennedy | Baton Rouge, Louisiana Maternity Photographer

I had the most fun maternity portrait session back in September with this gorgeous couple! Kennedy is absolutely glowing as a mama-to-be and she just looked stunning in every look that we did. We started the session with one of the studio collection’s more glamorous black gowns which fit Kennedy perfectly! We then swapped to a more chic light blue fabric for some dramatic tossed fabric looks. We then did some pictures in Kennedy’s jeans and white button down shirt (one of my favorite looks for maternity sessions!) and then ended with a nude colored tulle robe. Kennedy was amazing through the whole session – and dad wasn’t too bad either. 😉 Here are some of my favorites from their session….

Jenesis: 2 Months Old | Denham Springs, LA Newborn and Baby Photographer

I got to meet this little doll when she was 2 months old! I feel like most people think this is “too late” for newborn pictures and “too young” for baby pictures. But…..you guys….you can capture beautiful pictures of your little ones at ANY age! This age is such a sweet spot for getting some adorable wide awake shots showing off their brand new personality mixed in with a few minutes of sweet napping. Miss Jenesis was just absolutely perfect for her session. Here are a few of my favorites that we were able to capture…

Arkeia | New Orleans, Louisiana Maternity Portrait Session

This gorgeous mama came to the studio back in September. She was a natural in front of the camera and was so easy to photograph. Arkeia chose one of my studio gowns in an emerald green to start with – which looked gorgeous on her! And then she chose two different tossing fabrics that we played around with to give some different, fun looks. Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for her little one’s newborn session that I photographed a few months ago as well. 🙂 Here are a few of my favorites from her maternity session…

Katherin | Baton Rouge, Louisiana Maternity Session

This gorgeous couple came to the studio back at the end of August for a maternity portrait session! They were so much fun to work with and, despite the amount of serious expressions you see here, we were laughing through most of the session. 😉 We started the session with a beautiful emerald green gown that Katherin chose from my studio collection that looked absolutely stunning on her. Then we did some simple, classic pictures with jeans and a slouchy button down shirt. We finished the session with a “wet look” which looked so chic and glamorous! (I’m so glad Katherin requested this look because it was so much fun getting to try something different.) Here are a few of my favorites from their maternity session…

Daphne: 18 Days Old | Denham Springs, Louisiana Newborn Session

I guess since I’ll be photographing this sweet girl as a 6 month old this weekend, it’s probably time I got her newborn session blogged! 😉 Sweet Daphne was an absolute doll and was so much fun to photograph. Styling her session was so much fun because her mama requested shades of blues, purples, and neutrals. If you can’t tell – I love when parents request “non-traditional” colors for their sessions. 🙂 Daphne slept so well for her session but did manage to give me a couple of adorable wide eyed poses as well. I can’t wait to share some from her next session! For now, here are a few of my favorites from her newborn session….
