Welcoming a new baby is always special, and this beautiful maternity portrait session at my Baton Rouge photography studio captured such a meaningful season for this growing family. This mama, a well-known OBGYN serving families throughout the Baton Rouge area, came in with her two sweet kiddoss to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their baby sister.
For most of the session, mom chose a simple and timeless look with a casual white top, creating some classic maternity portraits that focused on connection and the anticipation of welcoming their newest family member. Her boys were so excited to snuggle close to mom and talk about their soon-to-arrive baby sister, making these portraits especially heartfelt.
To finish the session, we added a few of my signature glamorous tossing fabric portraits using a beautiful light champagne silk fabric. These images brought an elegant, artistic feel while still keeping the overall look refined and timeless.
Since this session, this wonderful mama has welcomed her baby girl—and I’ve already had the joy of photographing her newborn portraits. I can’t wait to share those images soon! ✨
