Harrison: 19 Days Old | Baton Rouge, LA Newborn Session

I got to photograph this tiny little one back in December for his first portrait session. He couldn’t have been any more perfect! We started the session getting some pictures with his VERY proud big brother (scroll down below to see some of those) and then we let Harrison be the star of the show from there. We used lots of classic neutrals for his session and added in bit of blues and greens here and there for some pops of color. I just love how all of his sweet pictures came out but here are a few of my favorites…

I got to meet this adorable baby boy and his super sweet family back in November for his very first portrait session! He was just the absolute sweetest for his session and let me get through so many setups. This beautiful mama-to-be came to the studio back in November for her maternity portrait session. She booked my Petite Maternity Session and we’re typically able to get through two looks during that time. We started with one of my favorite light blue tulle one-shoulder gowns. (I love this one so much I have it in 4 colors. 😉 ) And we finished with a more sheer silver option. Okay, okay….I know this one doesn’t really fit with my “Maternity, Newborn, and Baby Photographer” title BUT I did photograph both of these kiddos as newborns so it still counts, right? 😉 Hayley reached out to me back in October/November about wanting to do some Christmas card pictures like this – solid backdrop, formal outfits, serious expressions and I LOVED the idea! These guys were all so much fun to photograph and, despite all of the serious faces shown, we were cracking up most of the time and did get lots of smiling pictures as well. 😉 I think I’ll definitely add this as a non-themed Christmas option this year so be on the lookout for that this summer/fall.

Viaan: 1 Year Old | Baton Rouge, LA Newborn and Baby Photographer

Sweet Viaan was one of my JOY Plan babies and came back to see me in November for his final session. Isn’t he just a doll?! He has the most gorgeous eyes and the cutest smile! He was full of energy for his session and gave me (as well as his mom and dad) a pretty good workout trying to keep him in place. 😉 His mama brought some super cute outfits for him to wear and I adore the different poses we were able to capture. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from his 1 year session….
