Ivy: 6 Months Old | Denham Springs, LA Baby Plan Photographer

Beautiful Miss Ivy is one of my JOY Plan members and came back to visit me for her 6 month session a few weeks ago! She is just the sweetest little thing and we had so much fun doing a bunch of different setups for her. She was super smiley and having a blast so we just kept going and going until she let us know she’d had enough. 😉 Her mama brought some ADORABLE outfits for her to wear and we ended the session with a super sweet (but quick!) milk bath to celebrate 6 months of breastfeeding. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from sweet Ivy’s 6 month session…

Look at this gorgeous baby boy that came to visit me! This sweet guy was right around 1 month old when he came to the studio for his newborn portrait session and was WAY sleepier than I expected him to be! He gave a few good, big yawns right at the beginning of his session and stayed passed out the rest of the time. 🙂 We used lots of blues and teals for his session (which are my FAVORITES for boys!) and I think those deep colors perfectly complimented his gorgeous skin tones. Phoenix: 2 Months Old | St. Francisville, LA Newborn and Baby Photographer

This little beauty came to visit me when she was 2 months old. At 2 months old, you never know what you’re going to get as far as how the session will go. 😉 This sweet girl was so sweet and so happy through her whole session. She gave me lots of smiles – maybe she thought I was funny looking? 🙂 I attempted to swaddle her for some shots but she quickly let me know that wasn’t happening for long! Ha! We did a few unswaddled shots as well and then this sweet girl fell asleep JUST enough for me to attempt to do a few sleepy posed shots. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from Miss Phoenix’s session…

Nola: 7 Months Old | New Orleans, LA Baby Plan Photographer

Another one of my sweet JOY Plan babies came back to visit me! Gorgeous little Nola is already 7 months old when I feel like I JUST photographed her as a newborn! She is just the cutest thing and her mama brought some of the cutest outfits for her to wear! She was a little wary of me at first but finally warmed up and showed me that beautiful smile that she has. 🙂 We did lots of sweet girly setups for her to match her newborn session and included one “progression shot” to show how much she’s grown. Ethan: 12 Days Old | Hammond, LA Newborn Portrait Session

This sleepy little guy came to the studio in Baton Rouge a few months ago to have his newborn portraits taken. He tried keeping an eye on me for part of the session but quickly fell into a nice deep sleep. We did a more rustic theme with his session and incorporated browns, dark greens, and deep teals. Judging by the smiles he flashed at me during his session, I think he was a pretty happy camper while I worked with him. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from Ethan’s newborn session…
