Rosalina: 1 Month Old | Newborn Portrait Session in Baton Rouge, LA

This little lady came to visit me last month for her newborn portrait session. She was the sweetest little lady but REALLY didn’t love being naked! Good thing we had lots of swaddled setups ready for her. 😉 She was pretty curious about me for the beginning but did give in and relax for a little bit of a nap. Harper: 5 Weeks Old | New Orleans, LA Newborn and Baby Photographer

I had SO much fun styling this sweet girl’s session. Her mama said she liked fun colors and was up for anything! 🙂 I choose some of my favorite (and a little more non-traditional) colors – dark purples, fuchsias, blues, and teals to style her session with and I think all of the colors looked just beautiful on Harper. She was a perfect little poser and let me do a good variety of naked and swaddled shots for her deluxe session. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites…

Aarna: 22 Days Old | Baton Rouge, LA Newborn Portrait Session

This gorgeous baby girl came to the studio for her newborn session last month. Her mom and dad came to the studio prior to her session to pick out some colors and props that they would like to use I think her whole session came out beautifully designed. 🙂 We incorporated lots of pinks, purples, and florals into her session and combined with her BEAUTIFUL hair, these made for some super adorable images that I KNOW her parents couldn’t choose between. Bella: 1 Month Old | Hammond, LA Newborn Portrait Photographer

This squishy little baby girl came to visit me when she was just about 1 month old. She was super curious about me and tried her hardest to stay awake at the beginning but finally gave in and took a good nap. We styled her session with pinks and neutrals and incorporate some florals to make it super girly. Jenson: 8 Months Old | Baton Rouge, LA Baby Photographer

You guys – I’m just going to let you join in with me laughing at how much my own baby does NOT like having his picture taken (at least by me). I brought him back to the studio a couple of months ago to do some more pictures and he seriously couldn’t have been more bored. Ha! I mean…I feel like I’m pretty good at making babies laugh or at least crack a smile (It is my job, after all) but my kiddo just does not find me funny in the least. He was either whining or looking completely bored through this whole session. *sigh* Maybe next time…… At least he’s cute though. 😉
