Amelia Mae: 8 Days Old | Baton Rouge, LA Newborn and Baby Photographer

I got to meet this sweet girl back in May for her very first portrait session! Her mama was a beauty for her maternity session so I knew this little doll would be a beauty as well! She was perfectly sleepy the whole time and did so many sweet setups for me! Her mama and daddy are absolutely smitten with her and I can absolutely see why! We styled her session with some soft pinks, light greens, and some neutrals with just a touch of florals. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from Amelia Mae’s newborn session….

Dawsyn: 8 Days Old | Denham Springs, LA Newborn and Baby Photographer

Oh, I couldn’t WAIT to get to meet this little one! I got to photograph her big sister throughout her first year (as well as her mama through both pregnancies) so I just knew Miss Dawsyn was going to be a doll! She had the best hair and the sweetest little cheeks and was SO easy to photograph. This color palette makes me all kinds of happy with the rich jewel tones and, of course, we added in a few simple classic neutrals – one using her mama’s wedding veil. I had WAY too many favorites from her session but I managed to narrow it down to 9 just for this blog. 😉

Ethan: 1 Year Old | Baton Rouge, Louisiana Baby Portrait Session

This little cutie pie came back to visit me for his 1 year portraits a few months ago! Oh what a doll he is!! He has a nautical themed room so his mama wanted to incorporate that into a few setups and I adore how they came out. Ethan was definitely a fan of his little row boat! We ended his session with a simple cake smash to match his birthday theme. He was so curious and was more interested in playing with it than eating it. 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from Ethan’s 1 year session….

Amanda | Baton Rouge, LA Fine Art Maternity Session

I met this mama back in May to photograph her in some gorgeous looks while showing off her growing belly! Amanda was so much fun to work with and chose a great variety of looks for her session! We started with one of her black dresses (and let dad hop in for a few!) and then we moved to a rose colored gown from the studio collection. We then used one of my favorite tossing fabrics in a deep raspberry color and then ended her session is one of the studio collection’s newer gowns – an ivory tulle gown with pearls. Stay tuned to see her sweet little one that I photographed not long ago!

Collins: 6 Months Old | Denham Springs, LA Baby Photographer

This happy girl came to the studio for her 6 month portraits back in May! Her mama booked a Petite Session and I’m typically able to get through 2 setups at those. Miss Collins was an absolute doll and let me get WAY more pictures than I normally do! Her mama brought two perfect girly dresses for her to wear and we used a combination of a floral backdrop and a simple, classic white backdrop. I just adore all of her cute expressions in these!
