My sweet friend Averie came back to visit me for her second JOY Plan session back in March! She is such a sweet little lady and was so much fun to photograph. The sitter sessions are always so much fun to photograph because babies at this age have such fun personalities. This little doll sure does love her mama and smiled SO big every time she looked up at her. 🙂 Apparently I worked Miss Averie a little bit too hard during her session because she got pretty sleepy and ended up taking a little bit of a nap at the end. That’s not gonna stop me! I simply posed her in the same setup I was planning to use and let her sleep away. I got to photograph this sweet boy’s mama at her maternity session so I was SUPER excited to get to meet this little one at his newborn session! He couldn’t have been more perfect and was such a sleepy little guy! Mama requested shades of greens, blues, and neutrals and wanted to add in a few rustic touches and some football-themed images. Miles let me do everything I had planned and more and we even let mama and daddy snuggle in with him for a few shots – always my favorites. Here are some of my other favorites from this session…

This super sweet mama-to-be came to the studio back in February to photograph her growing baby bump before her little one arrived! She was absolutely glowing and looked gorgeous is every look! She chose 3 looks from the studio collection and we were able to add in a fourth one because we had some extra time. 😉 We started with a fitted long-sleeve black gown and a flowy white off the shoulder look. And we let dad join in for a few. 😉 Then we ended Thi’s session with some dramatic shots with our dark raspberry and ivory silk tossing fabrics. Here are some of my favorites from her session…

Campbell: 8 Days Old | New Orleans, LA Newborn Portrait Session

This sweet guy came to visit the studio back in February. His daddy secretly booked this session to gift his mama as a Christmas present and she mentioned that it was one of the most thoughtful gifts she had ever received. 🙂 We styled sweet Campbell’s with shades of blues and greens and a little rustic touch. I got to meet this sweet little lady back in February! She decided to surprise her mama by arriving a little bit early so spent some extra time in the NICU getting nice and strong. She was an absolute JOY to photograph! She was so curious about everything during her session and gave me some of the most adorable open eyed shots with those big, beautiful blue eyes!
