Olivia – 10 days old | Baton Rouge Newborn Photographer

Miss Olivia…..my most awake newborn to date. 15 minutes of sleep in over 4 hours. And apparently this is the norm for her. God bless her parents! 😉 Actually, Olivia was a super calm and content baby the whole time. Never fussy – just wiggly and wide awake. She didn’t want to miss anything! I have never been able to get as many open eyed pictures of a newborn as I did with her and I love them. 🙂 Olivia’s mom and I went to school together for years but haven’t seen each other in a LONG time so it was really fun to get to catch up with her and meet her new family. Here are some of my favorites from this sweet girl’s session..

Wide awake and looking around everywhere. 🙂

She FINALLY fell asleep so I could get some of my more traditional sleeping newborn pictures. I was scared to death to try and move her to another blanket but she did fine. 🙂

And….she decided her 15 minute power nap was good enough. She was ready to join the party again. 😉
