Carter – 8 days old | Newborn Photographer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

This darling little guy and his sweet parents came to visit me for some newborn portraits when Carter was just a tiny 8 days old. He was such a great baby for me during his session and allowed me to captures lots of sweet, sleepy images. I think the part I’ll remember the most about Carter’s session is towards the end during the parent pictures. Mom was holding her new tiny baby and looking down at him with a  sweet, adoring gaze and all of a sudden he gave her a nice little surprise.  In true mom form, she held her pose steady and we kept going with it. 😉 Newborn photography is definitely not always glamorous! And I’m excited that this sweet guy has signed up for my JOY Program, so I’ll get to see him grow throughout the year! Here are some of my favorites from Carter’s session.
