I met this beautiful couple back in May when I was honored to get to photograph their maternity session at my studio in Baton Rouge. They were such a fun and laid-back couple to work with so it made my job that much easier!As you know, I’m always behind on these featured sessions so I have already photographed their brand new little one. We’re keeping his images private but I can assure you that he is an ABSOLUTE DOLL and was just as perfect for his newborn session as his mom and dad were for theirs. 😉
We started Farah’s session with a bit of a western look, by dad’s request. We incorporated a darker textured background to compliment the lighter colors of their outfits and Farah’s cowboy hat.
Farah then quickly changed into a jeans and fun denim jacket with rhinestone tassels for few more fun “cowgirl” look. (Now I kind of want a jacket like hers!)
Next, Farah chose one of my tossing fabrics for a more dramatic look. This color is overlooked so often and I just love it so I’m so glad she chose it! It looked so beautiful on her!
Next we moved on to one of my client favorites – a silver sequin gown with a beautiful feather embellished cape! I love how this looks on pregnant mamas and I love how the fabric moves so beautifully with them.
And lastly, but certainly not least, Farah brought one of her personal black suits and paired it with a lacy bandeau top. I absolutely LOVED this look! I loved how it combines both a powerful and maternal look and I just think it speaks volumes about who Farah is as a person. Definitely one of my favorites. 🙂
