Welcoming a new baby into the family is always a special milestone, and it was such an honor to photograph sweet Bennett’s newborn session at my studio in Baton Rouge. At just 13 days old, Bennett was the perfect little model, sleeping peacefully through many of his portraits and allowing us to create a beautiful collection of timeless images for his family to treasure forever.

For Bennett’s newborn session, we chose a classic color palette of soft blues and neutral tones to create a look that will never go out of style. We also incorporated a tiny LSU football outfit to celebrate his family’s love for the Tigers. These images added a fun and personal touch to Bennett’s gallery while still keeping the overall look classic and cohesive.

Bennett’s proud big sister joined him for several sibling portraits and absolutely stole the show. She was so gentle and loving with her new baby brother, creating heartwarming images that perfectly captured the bond they are already building. Mom and dad also stepped in for family portraits, documenting this beautiful season of life as they welcome their newest family member.

As a Baton Rouge newborn photographer, I love creating customized newborn sessions that reflect each family’s style while preserving these fleeting moments. Babies change so quickly during those first few weeks, making professional newborn portraits one of the most meaningful investments families can make. If you’re expecting and searching for a Baton Rouge newborn photographer, I recommend scheduling your newborn session during pregnancy to ensure availability within those precious first few weeks after your baby’s arrival.
